Wildflower Ordinaries
The hydrangeas she gave;
the most beautiful I've seen.
Pressed between the pages,
next to the clover, still green.
Locked in time
us two on earth.
Entangled by midwest wind,
facing fears and finding worth.
Pressed in the book,
"The Life you can Save"
The beauty of her imprint
A light beam in an ancient cave.
Wildflower ordinaries
amidst a suburb of storms
A red heart shaded gray
and a new emotion forms.
My soul forever rattled.
Presses on over uneven plateaus
A hydrangea in a field of clovers
Seeds of truth, only she knows.
