I chose this article because I love animals and a year ago one of my friends rescued a cat with masses on her belly and took her to the vet where she had a surgery and they were successfully removed. Today Nala is a happy cat in a loving home. In the article a dog with a 6-pound tumor was left in a shelter by his owner. They wanted to euthanize Clyde because of his condition but the workers of Homeless Animals Rescue Team decided to volunteer and help him. After they collected enough donations, Clyde had a surgery performed. Now they are waiting for his biopsy results and then he will be ready for adoption. I chose this article because of the colorful balloons. It reminded me of my favorite Disney Pixar movie "Up." At first, I thought the idea of piloting things into the sky was an entertainment thing. I did not think people would actually attempt to do the same but I love it. Having adventures is fun. As I read on, it turns out this group do "crazy" things to raise money for charity. Not only are they "fighting boredom but they are also saving the world from horrors of modern life." This encourages me to be more adventurous. Being blessed enough to get the chance to do whatever I want, I should consider also giving back. Next time, I'm out doing something fun, I will do something nice for someone else. The reason why I chose this article is because there is so much negative news that gets brought into our lives and not so many good, so this article drew my attention. I personally did not know that there are so many children out there in the world, who work hazardous conditions and long, exhausting hours, that do not get to enjoy their childhood. This was a great thing to see how child labor was almost cut by half since the beginning of the 2000s. This article really made me think about how great my childhood was. I actually got the chance to live my childhood and have fun with my life. It makes me really upset reading about how many children do not get to have a fun childhood but instead have to work hard on farms, in factories etc. Going forward, I will be more appreciative of all the good I had in my life and be grateful for it.

This article made me consider planting more plants and to help the environment more myself. I also considered the thought of why other countries arent going with this movement like New Zealand is.
